The Gramercy Residence Hall is comprised of fully furnished, studio and two-bedroom apartments. During the academic year, Gramercy is a women’s residence, however it is co-ed during the summer. Studio apartments are single occupancy during the summer. The two-bedroom apartments are for 4 people to share. Average bedroom size is 11 x 17’, however this varies depending on the apartment layout.

Girly #NYCInternship: Operations Intern @ American Girl!
American Girl Place New York is three floors and 42,000 square-feet filled with things girls love! Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of midtown Manhattan near Rockefeller Center, American Girl Place New York features the company’s flagship line of historical and contemporary dolls, accessories, clothing, and books.
In addition to shopping, girls and their families can top off their special day at American Girl Place with a fun and fancy meal in the Cafe, a visit to the Doll Hair Salon, or a trip to the Photo Studio to get their picture taken for the cover of a souvenir issue of American Girl magazine.
Scope of Position
’ This is a 10 week paid internship program
’ The intern will work side by side with operations managers and associates in partnership with marketing, visual and retail divisions
’ Topics and concepts to be covered will include: stock and inventory management, business planning and analysis, operations leadership, staff training, coaching and development
’ The intern will participate in a project to design a retail business concept (i.e. experience, event or merchandise)

Scripps Networks Interactive (HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and GAC) offers an excellent opportunity for college students to learn about the media industry.
